Nina Cortex was actually going to be a playable character in the game but was saved until Crash Twinsanity.
The last Crash game where Clancy Brown voices Dr. Neo Cortex. He would be replaced by Lex Lang.
Nitros Oxide has one exhaust pipe on the back of his head instead of two like in CTR. Fans speculate that the unicycle accident from CTR's 101 percent ending caused Oxide's other exhaust pipe to be amputated after the accident.
