The Nick at Nite Holiday Special (2003)

Trivia

The Nick at Nite Holiday Special

Edit
The program was filmed at CBS Television City in Hollywood. Clay Aiken and Joyce DeWitt are watching Bing Crosby on The Edsel Show, which was filmed at CBS Television City in 1957.
The archival footage of Bing Crosby singing "Little Drummer Boy" was taken from "The Bing Crosby Show" which aired on ABC on December 24, 1962. This was the first color special that aired on ABC. Until recently only a B&W kinescope of the show was known to exist. However, a color master was discovered recently at the library at Georgia State University.
During Al Roker's weather report, he references the fictional Alex P. Keaton International Airport. Alex P. Keaton was the name of the character played by 'Michael J. Fox' on Family Ties (1982) which is rerun on Nick At NIte.
Al Roker also references "Huxtable Highway, where they have a lot of cliffs." Cliff Huxtable was the main character played by Bill Cosby on "The Cosby Show," which is rerun on NIck At NIte.
The man playing the saxophone during "The Christmas Song" is the show's music director Tom Scott. Scott, a two-time Grammy winner, is best known for the his popular 1970s jazz funk band LA Express. He also played with the original Blues Brothers band with John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd in the late-'70s.
