    quiet, but enjoyable

Often times, a director's/writer's first film looks stupid.

This is not the case with this film.

There is the amateur quality, but more noticeable than this is the feel of the entire cast and crew that creates a consistent and youthful tone, reflecting the characters' emotions as well as the hope and motivation that any first-time filmmaker might put into their initial project.

It's hard to tell if these characters are real actors or just want-to-bes, but they come off well...whether it be some stroke of luck or an actual manifestation of natural talent. This film is endearing, memorable, and pleasant to watch.
