Gargoyle (2004)

Trivia

Gargoyle

Edit
The English title, which is also mentioned in the opening credits, is Gargoyle's Revenge. For American television, the title Gargoyle: Wings of Darkness was chosen.
Most of the Cast have already appeared in other Monster Movies: Michael Pare (Triassic Hunt, Nessie and Me), Tim Abell (Mega Shark vs. Kolossus, Super Shark) and Rene Raymond Rivera (Gargoyles. Komdoo vs. Cobra).
However, Jim Wynorski appears under the pseudonym Jay Andrews.
Parts of the film were shot in the Romanian capital Bucharest, especially the Bellu cemetery. The bishop's monastery was Mogosoaia Castle, located at the gates of the city. Short overlays show the Orthodox church in Bucharest's posh district of Cotroceni and the hilltop castle of Poenari in the Carpathians. The spire on which the gargoyle impales one of its victims belongs to the Törzburg in Transylvania.
Director Wynorski first time worked with Michael Pare.
