Corey Feldman invited Jordan Peele over to his place for a private screening of "the Birthday" upon which Peele, a fan of Feldman's work, decided to feature it at a film festival that he curated at the Lincoln Center in NYC where "the Birthday" premiered in the USA on January 13, 2023, almost twenty years after its release outside of the US.
