Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty in Phir Hera Pheri (2006)

Trivia

Phir Hera Pheri

Edit
The movie is inspired by the movie 'lock stock & two smoking barrels' starring Jason Statham.
Suneil Shetty was upset with his role, as he felt several of his scenes were cut. Those days there were reports that Akshay Kumar used to cut his co-star's roles in his films, however Akshay had defended himself saying that he told the makers to cut his own song Kitne Armaan by half.
Original film Hera Pheri (2000)'s director Priyadarshan refused to direct the film as he felt the magic could be created only once, hence producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala decided to give writer Neeraj Vora a chance to direct the film. Coincidentally, the film released on the same day as Priyadarshan's Chup Chup Ke (2006) but Phir Hera Pheri was a big hit and Chup Chup Ke just an average grosser.
This movie is very much loved by the Indian online community as almost every scene in the movie is used as meme material on the internet.
For some reason, Bipasha Basu's and Rimi Sen's voices were dubbed by a dubbing artist.
