Summertime is the best time to transport yourself into a nostalgic world, as Freeform celebrates 30 Days of Disney with legendary Disney films starting June 1. Viewers can relive their childhood with films from the full Disney catalog, including Disney-Pixar’s Inside Out, National Treasure, Avatar, Spider-Man (2002), and many more.

The programming event will also feature the world television premiere of Disney-Pixar’s animated film Lightyear. Other Freeform premieres include Disney-Pixar’s Soul and Disney Animation’s Fantasia (1940 and 2000).

Throughout each week in June, fans can reminisce with special summer marathons that will stir up fond memories and reconnect them with the films they cherish.

During the first weekend of June, you can check out your Disney “faves” with classic films like Disney Animation’s Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and The Little Mermaid (1989). During the second weekend, check out your Pixar faves with movies like Inside Out, Coco, and Cars.

Updated: There has been another round of content removal from Disney+, this time in the Emea region, which consists of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. More than 120 titles have been taken off this week, primarily Disney Channel original movies and vintage Disney live-action films, as well as a few series, including Zeke and Luther, Pepper Ann, So Random and the first three seasons of Nat Geo’s Genius and ESPN/Nat Geo docs.

According to sources, the takedowns were a result of a library title review. There have been several content purges at Disney+ over the last year amid cost-cutting, most notably the removal of a slew of original series last May.

Many Disney Channel actors have starred in multiple Disney Channel Original Movies (DCOMs). There is a lot of actor overlap between DCOMs, with actors often appearing in different roles or guest-starring in other major franchises. Some notable actors with multiple appearances in DCOMs include Raven-Symoné, Brenda Song, Corbin Bleu, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Dove Cameron.

Several actors have starred in multiple Disney Channel TV shows, but many have also starred in multiple Disney Channel original movies. A Disney Channel Original Movie (Dcom) is a TV movie that was distributed/released by and originally aired on Disney Channel. For this reason, films like The Lizzie McGuire Movie and Hannah Montana: The Movie, despite being based on Disney Channel shows, aren't considered DCOMs, as they were originally released in theaters. The theatrical release rule also applies to High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which was released in theaters.

The Pitch: In this oft-forgotten 2004 Disney Channel Original Movie, "Saturday Night Live" alum Taran Killam plays Jordan Cahill, a heartthrob pop star who captures the hearts of teenaged girls around the nation. With his chunky blond highlights, colorful pleather jackets, and camera-ready pout, Jordan is the quintessential early-aughts celebrity. "Take a chance, take a risk, hope is where the magic is," he sings on his latest dreamy hit, and it's a message that suburban teen soccer player Brittany (Danielle Panabaker) and her chic new classmate Natasha (Brenda Song) hear through their TV sets and take to heart.

Danielle Panabaker was in several Disney projects that 2000s fans loved. She got on famously with Brenda Song in 2004's Stuck in the Suburbs and got to do a movie with her sister, Kay, called Read it and Weep, which came out in 2006. In between her popular Disney Channel Original Movies, Danielle played Layla in Sky High. This movie was not a Dcom in the traditional sense, because it actually premiered in theaters—you may have gone to see it in 2005 yourself.

Sky High is one of many titles with a frustrating message on Disney+. "Due to existing agreements," no one can watch it on the new streaming service until December 2020. Longtime Disney star Brenda Song, whose acting credits include Superstore and The Social Network, is returning to the Disney fold to play the lead voice role in Amphibia, an animated comedy series premiering this summer on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.

The announcement was made today as Song celebrated her birthday at Disneyland in Anaheim.

Song previously starred as London Tipton in Disney Channel’s long-running series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, its spinoff The Suite Life on Deck and The Suite Life Movie. She also starred in several other popular Disney Channel Original Movies, including Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior, Stuck in the Suburbs, Get A Clue and The Ultimate Christmas Present.

In Amphibia, Song plays 13-year-old Anne Boonchuy, an independent and fearless teen magically transported to the fantastical world of Amphibia, a rural marshland full of frog-people.

Hulu has announced the new titles that will be available to stream on the platform during the month of April. Leading the pack is the new original series “The Handmaid’s Tale,” based on Margaret Atwood’s classic novel of the same name and starring Elisabeth Moss. The series premieres April 26.

The nostalgia trip will kick off Memorial Day Weekend, with a marathon of the 51 most popular DCOMs, and will continue throughout the next month with every other original film presented at various times.

Former Disney Channel fans may have recognized a familiar face on "Mad Men" last night: Danielle Panabaker.

Note: Do not read on if you have not yet seen Season 6, Episode 6 of AMC's "Mad Men," titled "For Immediate Release."

In the most recent "Mad Men" episode, Panabaker played Daisy McCluskey, a flight attendant that was sleeping with Roger Sterling (John Slattery) and ended up proving helpful when it came to Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce (and Cutler Gleason & Chaough) nabbing the Chevy account.

The now 25-year-old Panabaker got her start doing Disney Channel Original movies like 2004's "Stuck in the Suburbs" (with current "Saturday Night Live" cast member Taran Killam) and "Read It and Weep," a 2006 Disney movie she did with her younger sister and fellow actress Kay Panabaker.

"Plumed Serpent" was easily one of the most imaginative episodes of Grimm yet.

We all give Once Upon A Time a lot of credit for bringing fairy tales and Disney to life, but Grimm should be given its fair share, as well, for delivering its own unique style and spin on things. How the show is shot, and finding the whimsical in and around Portland, can’t be easy to do every week. And that's before they bring it all together as a modern day fairy tale.

Danielle Panabaker has allegedly found a summer romance. Life & Style Magazine reported that the "Friday the 13th" actress was spotted cozying up with Zachary Abel, the actor who stars as Carter Anderson on "Make It or Break It", on Friday, June 4 at the Muscle Milk Fitness Retreat in Beverly Hills.

"Zach was by Danielle's side the whole time," a source told the publication. "She was on crutches because she broke a toe, and he even held her bag for her so it was easier for her to get around."
