The Bloodletting is a "B" movie. Obviously! But never does it deserve a "1" IMDb Rating. Period. This film won a large festival based on these facts: Four man Crew, Written in 9 Days (12 pages per day), made with a ZERO budget, decent fight choreography, Written, Directed, Choreographed, Edited and starred in by Jeremy Dunn and Shaun Piccinino. "That's Two people Friends! Again, TWO PEOPLE! Two people who are only 27 Years old Too! Yet they still got a World Wide Distribution deal." So, I pose the Question to all the Haters giving really low ratings... "Can You Do Better? If so, with a Zero Budget?" I highly doubt it. If so, prove it. Nonetheless, if you CAN do the same and CAN back it up with facts, thus proving a zero-budget, completed, feature film WITH a worldwide distribution deal... then vote what you will. However, if not, if you have never made a film before and are just some kid under 30 who sits around all day and gets a kick at bashing people who have completed more than you ever will in the Film Business... then "Get a life." Don't bash unless you can do better, otherwise, you are no better than a sour, bitter... hater. Take the movie for what it is worth and appreciate it.
To Move on, let me inform the Public, mainly the Haters, about these two nice gentleman filmmakers Jeremy Dunn and Shaun Piccinino. Shaun Piccinino is now making about $75,000 per year as an editor and visual effects specialist for Seth Green's HUGE effects company "Shadow Animation." Since the Bloodletting, Shaun is prepping for his next Feature film of which he has been offered $500,000 dollars to make. Additionally, Shaun has worked under Drew Carey, George Lucas and Seth Green... just to name a few. As a matter of fact, Fox news channel has even tried to hire Shaun for his talents, which speaks volumes considering that Fox News is the Most Visual Effects Filled, highest paying news station in the WORLD! Nevertheless, I could go on and on, but I will not.
Jeremy Dunn is still acting and has made appearances on the show "Justice," "CSI" and "CSI Miami," Jeremy also doubled Robert Patrick in the upcoming action comedy "Balls of Fury" starring Christopher Walken... and has doubled Garrett Hedlund (Billingsly) in the Famous Football movie "Friday Night Lights." Likewise, Jeremy starred in the 24 Million Dollar Budget Video Game "TRUE CRIME: Streets of New York." He played and did all the Motion Capture for Marcus (The Guy on the Cover of the Box), Christopher Walken's Character and many other personalities in that Game. Moreover, he is currently the assistant editor on a Rob Schneider Feature Film Called "Cornerman," which already has Oscar Buzz, due out in 2007. Rob's production company is working along side Jargon Entertainment (Sub Company for My Name is Earl) to finish the post-production. Jeremy and Shaun have now been cast in Jargon Entertainment's next two Feature Films. -This is just the beginning.
At any rate, keep Doing well Shaun and Jeremy, keep making that money! As for the haters, get a life, a job, then buy a camera, and try to make a film... THEN compare it to The Bloodletting. After your film is completed, see if you are immediately offered a full time Job in Hollywood alongside a $500,000 dollar movie deal... like The Bloodletting Filmmakers did. Oh, and remember Mr. or Mrs. Hater... "Real Hollywood people, recognize raw Hollywood Talent with potential." That is why they are here and you are there.
Sonya Schiccatano, Secretary, Colapsar Entertainment (The Production Company of "The Bloodletting.")
