Quest for Glory III: Wages of War (1992)

Trivia

Quest for Glory III: Wages of War

Edit
If the hero builds a fire, and leaves the screen without putting it out, Smoky the Elephant appears in the death message and says "Only you can stamp out savanna fires". This is a parody on Smokey the Bear and his slogan "Only you can prevent forest fires".
Due to game bug, it is possible to score the maximum 500 points only by playing the role of Fighter (who later becomes Paladin).
The first game in the series in which the text parser was replaced by the icon interface.
Due to a conflict with another game also called "Wages of War", the game developers planned to change the game title in the next editions to "Quest for Glory III: Seekers of the Lost City" (this is how the game is referred to in the "about" section of the fourth game Quest for Glory IV: Shadows of Darkness (1994)), but eventually the title was never officially changed.
The game plot takes place in central Africa; the season is fall; the central element is Air; the mythology is African.
