During the Mid 2015 to early 2016 seasons, Eli Drake known in WWE as LA Knight was embroiled in a team feud with his group "The Rising" along with Drew Galloway (" known as Drew McIntyre in the WWE) and rival BDC. During the feud the BDC recruited Hernandez as part of the group and was not allowed to appear due to a contractual obligation to Lucha Underground. A cease and desist occurred that lead to the feud having to be removed from television but due to the nature of the taped format, most of Eli Drake/LA Knight's segments were deleted and replaced with recap segments leading to him being "missing" for weeks at a time.
