      In an interview with Howard Stern, Adam Sandler said he specifically cast David Spade and Rob Schneider to force them to work together in order to smooth over a rift that the two had with each other.
    • Goofs
      After the opposing team in the finals of the tournament let Nelson get a hit, when rounding third base, he does not touch it on his way to home plate. Because of this, the home run should not have counted. However, in order for the base runner to be called out, the opposing team must challenge the play. The proper procedure would be before throwing the next pitch, throw the ball to the base that was missed. Then announcing to the umpire that the base runner failed to touch the base. If this is not done before the next pitch then the base runner is safe.

    I smell Cinnamon Rolls

    The Benchwarmers is a 2006 sports comedy that follows three nerds who form a three person baseball team and take on the little league teams in a round robin tournament.

    This is another goofy comedy from Happy Madison productions that doesn't star Adam Sandler, but still manages to bring some laughs with David Spade, Rob Schneider and Jon Heder. It's not a great movie by any means, but I've always found it kind of funny and enjoyable to a certain degree. The Humor is pretty childish which I guess appeals to the little kid inside me, and the story is very bland, but I still find the movie overall entertaining.

    If you like silly comedies and haven't seen this before, I'd recommend giving it a watch.
