At the hotel where some scenes were filmed, cast and crew began to notice that they were working amongst members of the "oldest profession" and their "managers", all of whom ended up being very cooperative about helping keep the noise down when the camera rolled. A few even ask to audition for parts as extras.
All the scenes inside the limo, when the limo was actually moving, were grabbed "guerilla" style. There was no permit in place to film in a moving vehicle. At any given time there were six or more people in the limo: actor, director, sound man, cinematographer, assistant camera and driver. The heat was unbearable.
When Ms. Milch (Jenya Lano) makes a cell phone call and gets an automatic voice mail announcement, the voice on the other end of the phone is in fact the voice of director Scott Storm.
When actor George Williams (Leo) interrupts an acting class and walks right through them, that group represents the on screen cameos of writer Paul Osborne, and three of the films producers, Michael Mannheim, Gavin Franks and Brian Osborne. Fourth producer Michael Rogers cameos as a thug one scene later.
Yvonne Perry, the actress who plays the "theater instructor", played Rosanna Cabot on AS THE WORLD TURNS for four years. She is also a dear friend and High School classmate of director Scott Storm, who acted in all his early Super-8 Films. They call one another "D.W." and "Viv"..after D.W. Griffith and Vivien Leigh.
