Paquito Diaz was the only one among the returning cast members from the first movie who did not reprised his previous character. He instead played a new minor character as opposed to his previous character in Michael and Madonna (1990) which is a crooked professor.
Ogie Alcasid, Nova Villa, Monica Herrera, and Zenda Cabangon were among the cast members who played some notable characters in the first film Michael and Madonna (1990) but failed to return in this sequel. As a result, Ogie Alcasid's character, Banjo was played by another actor while the character of the other cast members who failed to return were scrapped out.
