Happy Tree Friends, Volume 3: Third Strike

Violence, what else can i say. No story, no v-os. No nothing. Just clever ways for cute animals to die. That's hilarious in itself, but gets boring and repetitive. Imagine watching the same violent thing over and over again, funny at first, and you can NEVER take your eyes away, but sometimes, you'll just get bored. Happy Tree friends is great is your tree hugger girlfriend just broke up with you (DIE MOOSE DIE!) but if your in the mood for a real cartoon, check out Family guy. This is good to own for certain occasions however, like above. The series just needs a pick up though, like perhaps a....... maybe some voices? A real size cartoon with a plot. Happy Tree Friends and Friends on G4 just ain't cutting it anymore.

There are many things added to this volume to Happy Tree Friends that differs from the first two. Follow the Yellow Rabbit is an informative piece where you get to see sketches, 3-d designs, and even clips of making the episodes (one of which has Warren Graff literally choking on water in one of the episodes). The Obligatory and Commentary was the funniest of the commentaries...till I saw the Commentary On The Commentary that just made me laugh my ass off. One incident on that turns out to be a 1st in DVD commentary history. I dunno how, but I actually watched the whole Commentary on the Commentary without going insane. This is definitely worth your money's worth and I give it 6 of 5 stars.

This was by far the best of the happy tree friends DVDs. It was an inspiration to my internal Psyche. It transfixed my senses and took me on a spiritual journey... OK, not exactly spiritual... and not a journey per say... OK OK OK it was just plain sick and twisted fun!!! I own all three DVDs and I highly recommend them to all non babies. This DVD takes the cake and hits other people in the face with it... well the part it already didn't eat... anyways, this DVD is by far the best in the HTF collection, I know it inspired me! The crew did an amazing job at animating, voicing over, and the graphics are far superior to the last movies. I will continue to do reviews on all new happy tree friend movies. (shuder) I can hardly wait!
