Trivia

Deewane Huye Paagal

Edit
The film, despite being a multi starrer and a comedy which was successful those days, was a failure at the Box Office. Many people felt the film didn't leave up to the expectations of Awara Paagal Deewana while some felt there were too many back to back comedies.
Reportedly Shahid was upset that his role was cut by Akshay.
There were reports that Shahid's role was cut by Akshay Kumar in the film.
When the film released, there were speculations that it was a sequel to Awara Paagal Deewana, which had almost the same star cast (Akshay, Sunil, Paresh, Johny Lever,Om Puri,Asrani)- even the font used was same - but that was proved wrong.
Paresh Rawal's role wasn't there in the original film There's Something About Mary(1998).
