In the Moment

A student film shot on digital at the University of Hawaii by first time feature film directors Jules Nathan and Tomas Pais. Starring Shane Curtis as Adam, the movie looks at life in the dorms from the perspective of someone new to Hawaii. A budding romance and some beautiful and talented fresh faces accompanied by some of Hawaii's best indie music makes this an enjoyable film worth the well-paced hour of viewing.

On a budget of $3,500, the film bears the marks of a student indie, but is an introduction to the future work of the up and coming filmmakers. Made in conjunction with the Student Video and Filmmakers Association, it was the first feature film produced by the studio Palefox Masterworks. The movie was made with equipment owned by the University of Hawaii, but is available for download at Palefoxmasterworks.com, along with other great shorts and music.
