Sean Connery in From Russia with Love (2005)

Trivia

From Russia with Love

Edit
This James Bond video game was released in 2005 which was about forty-two years after its source motion picture of the same From Russia with Love (1963) name had been first released in 1963.
The name of the criminal organization was OCTOPUS. Because they could not use the name S.P.E.C.T.R.E., the name of the evil organization from the movie, Eon renamed it O.C.T.O.P.U.S. for this game instead. They also could not use the name of S.P.E.C.T.R.E.'s leader Ernst Stavro Blofeld, so they used Goldfinger and Dr. No as the masterminds instead.
Originally, the game was intended to be a follow-up to 007: Nightfire (2002) with Pierce Brosnan's likeness and voice set to reprise Bond. The game was to be called "Phoenix Rising". However, when Brosnan officially announced that he's stepping down from the role in February 2005, the idea for "Phoenix Rising" was scrapped and instead was switched to "From Russia with Love".
'The Looper' website has reported that "in 2005, [Sean] Connery returned to the world of James Bond when he recorded voice-overs for the new video game version of his 1963 film 'From Russia with Love'. Executive producer Glen Schofield said Connery agreed for two reasons: 'From Russia with Love' was his favorite Bond film, and his grandchildren love video games."
First and only video game performance by Sean Connery.
