Eve of Understanding is an interesting and moving story about one girl's journey that includes locations in Austin and Katy, TX and beautiful Sedona, AZ. You might say this is a drama, but there is plenty of comedy in it as well. Our heroine encounters many very interesting and often comic characters in her quest for "Understanding." I felt that in some small way, I was able to gain some personal insight as a result of viewing this film. The story is intriguing and not completely revealed until the end. The scenery is breathtaking and the music is hauntingly beautiful. The acting by Rebecca Lowman is outstanding! This is one movie really worth experiencing!

The more I see this film the more I appreciate its depth. The story is told simply, clearly and moves at this slightly slower pace which actually allows one to FEEL the effects and impact of everywoman's (everyman's) healing journey to find themselves. Perhaps the appearances differ but the heroine's inner journey and growing awareness is so beautifully and comically portrayed that our own heart is touched and reminded of the inherent healing power within LIFE! Alyson's film serves us all by guiding us to pursue the truth no matter what....for 'the truth shall set you free!' Thankyou for a truly powerful film set against a stunning backdrop of landscapes.
