Perses (1973)

Trivia

Perses

Edit
In the 1980s, the animation film was produced in the USSR on VHS by the publication "Video program of the USSR State Goskino".
The animation film, unlike the myth, is shortened. There is no scene with Perseus' Mother, the birth of Pegasus from the blood of Medusa and the giant Chrysaor from her body, the wedding of Perseus and Andromeda, and the scene of Polydect's conversion to stone.
In the myth, Perseus receives a sword from Hermes and a shield from Athena, and Aida's helmet with a magic bag and sandals from Grays. In the cartoon, the helmet of Aida does not appear, and the shield, like the sword, is obtained from Hermes.
About the fact that Grays had another tooth for three in the film is not spoken, in contrast to the myth.
In the film, Perseus always shows nobility: for example, gives Grays their dropped eye and they give everything he asks for as a reward. In the myth, he steals an eye and demands a ransom, using their blindness.
