    Ratty Family Entertainment

'El Ratón Pérez' was quite a fun movie as I was watching it with my younger sibling and mother. The rats are cute. The Galician streets are a fresh sight. However, the content needed strong improvement. There are plenty of plot holes and some of the sequences are too far-fetched (like the flying bicycle). The parent characters are too cardboard, especially the mother and the dialogue between them is awful. Child actress Delfina Varni is quite okay while the rest don't impress much except Fabian Mazei who is let down by a poorly written role. The idea behind the world of rats is creative and well executed and drew a few chuckles and laughter. The CGI is nowhere near excellent but it wasn't too bad either as the viewer quickly gets used to it. 'El Ratón Pérez' could have been great family entertainment but it is mostly a letdown due to poor writing. Yet, overall, it can still be fun if one could arguably ignore the flaws.

This Argentina/Spain co-production is an acceptable and passable computer generator cartoon movie about a Hairy Tooth Fairy Mouse

This is an amusing and entertaining adventure comedy in C.G.I. animation . It concerns with a little girl called Lucia , she lives a quiet life with their parents in a Buenos Aires neighborhood . Lucia is a happy , funny child who is always seeking adventures . There appears Raton Perez , by night he takes on his ordinary habits : collecting the tooth hidden under the children's pillows . He never takes a time for rest and slowly he's gonna feel this thing . Pérez, The Hairy Tooth Fairy lives in a boat in the port along with hundreds of other mice . Perez has a daily-time job , he works at a pearl factory by day and in one of the night, gives gifts to children . Then Lucía, the agreeable little girl , looses a tooth . Santiago, her daddy, is an out-of-work cock , and her mom named Pilar is a competent but overworked architect , she tells her that a mouse will come to her bedroom to collect her tooth, leaving a coin in its place . Meanwhile , other mouses receive the teeth that he collects, and then clean , shape and polish them so that they can be become into brilliant round pearls . These pearls are then transported through the sewers until definitively they reach the jewellers owned by Morientes , where an old friend exchanges them for their weight in shiny gold. Later on , Lucía, with the help of her cousin Ramiro , disobeys her parents and sets off to rescue Pérez who has been kidnapped by heartless , malicious Pipo at a jewelry . Pipo has an accomplice , a scoundrel mouse who wishes to a take the valuable pearls . Thus starting a riveting adventure with an outcome that just goes to show that you don't have to be a kid to believe .

The movie is an enjoyable animation film in 3D , in which the legendary rodent named Perez takes an unexpected turn for the worse when two nasty villainous , Pipo and an ambitious mouse , kidnap him to take his fortune for themselves . It deals with a likable mouse , the enthusiast Lucia and her fellow cousin as well as best friend . The film is quite amusing with emphasis on cartoon spectacle , adventures and emotion . There are several silly scenes and a lot of action as when the sympathetic mouse is relentlessly chased and take place bounds and leaps . Film direction by Juan Pablo Busquerini is nice , and music is first-rate and very spectacular . Production by Julio Fernandez and Carlos Fernandez , ruling of Filmax Productions and Fantastic Factory is fine . They have become two of the most important producers of the country . Actually, the position of his organization responds fully to the opportunities of the European and international markets in the leisure sector, emphasizing on the fantastic genre, through Fantastic Factory and animation with Filmax Animation, to the global market on home video, television and also theatrically . They have produced successful cartoon films like this ¨El Raton Perez I¨ and II¨ also titled "The Hairy Tooth Fairy", ¨Gisaku¨ , ¨Donkey Xote¨, ¨El Cid : the legend¨ directed by Jose Pozo and ¨Goomer¨, among others . The picture was professionally directed by Juan Pablo Buscarini , who has produced and directed various family movies . He is a good producer and director, known for The Games Maker (2014), Un Cuento Chino (2011) , Cóndor Crux (2000) and The Noah's ark .

Followed by a sequel titled ¨El Raton Perez¨2 directed by Andrés G. Schaer , written by Angel Pariente with voices by Manuel Manquiña and Manuela Velasco , it deals with the story of the little mouse continues with new adventures . The funny adventure begins now when Perez must go to Lucas's home to steal his fallen teeth . Just arriving there, he notices that the kid is still awake and he must wait and after that , his bemusing feats go on .
