Apart from being hilariously funny, this show does something very different and that is, it makes you care about the characters. It's superbly written, tight and brilliantly cast. You end up getting invested to the point where the final episode will break your heart, but you'll love it just the same. I absolutely recommend you take the time to love it too.
A Scottish classic for sure I really enjoyed this it was so funny for all 9 seasons and the ending maid me tear up over all this was very good
Well written. Sharp quick wit and clever scenarios you wouldn't expect from "old pensioners". Brilliant characters so well played you couldn't imagine these actors being anyone else but who they play. Every episode is good and it quickly became one of my favorite shows.
Very few TV series, drama or comedy, get better as the episodes continue over prolonged series. This is up there with Father Ted - Fools and Horses - Dads Army as a memorable comedy series of high calibre. I love Rab C Nesbitt and Still Game has the mix of characters expounding their philosophical prowess from the working class "council estate" rough and ready's. The characters are brilliant, back stabbing, yet strong as a community with sharp humour. Every single actor is brilliant. Isla (the female gossip) deserves an Oscar. This would get an 11 if I could give it. Great series, hilarious and clever.
