The Night of the White Pants (2006)

Trivia

The Night of the White Pants

Edit
For 21 out of the 22 days of shooting, the heat index was at or above 100 degrees Fahrenheit at the Texas locations.
On one particular shoot day, the production was stalled for over an hour due to tremendous rain that flooded the generators powering the lights on set, as well as the catering truck which was severely damaged. A tree even collapsed on an exterior table that, less than an hour before, had sat several primary cast members.
Almost the entire movie was shot in East Dallas, a historic neighborhood where the director grew up and a neighborhood that her family helped to make into a Historic District. The Hagan house actually belongs to the director's family and it has been in their family for almost a hundred years.
Among the many punk-rocker extras in the club scene at Double Wide, many members of the crew can also be seen.
The film has heavy drug content. One of the interns was known for carrying bright green Advil liqui-gels. At one point, the pills went missing and were ultimately found in the production's "drug bag" which contained all of the false narcotics used in the film.
