Mr. Spadaccini has had the good fortune of surrounding himself with a very talented group of friends. Up until now, I've only had the pleasure of viewing his serious, dramatic works. but the actors are all just as comfortable with comedy...in fact they excel at it! Expressing ideas in a silent movie is not as simple as one would think...you must rely on exaggerated gestures, body movement, and facial expressions. The entire cast of characters pull it off as if this were the only genre they had ever worked in. 'Monday Morning' is a fitting tribute to the great silent comedy classics of the past. You don't have to be a fan of 'silents' to enjoy this 'short'...it is a return to a time when we watched a comedy just to make us laugh and forget our troubles for a time...not to have a message forced down our throats. As always, I look forward, eagerly, to future releases by this very talented young man, and his equally talented crew!
This movie's biggest flaw is its too short. I wanted more more more! A blast of a film to just sit through and enjoy. As a huge Benny Hill fan, this brought back memories of that manic, frenetic paced buffoon suffering every problem thrown at him in his simple day. Filmed without dialog, the music is friendly, uppety and keeps the pace of the film moving forward. Clarity of the film is right on, with no over-saturated brights, and helps keep the old-time concept and black and white feel right in place. Acting was enjoyable by a capable cast, using as much physical gestures and movement to keep the energy going. Would definitely want this to be a full length film, a charming piece thats suitable for almost any age, and a great film to round out any collection.
i know anthony personally and think his movies are good. But this movie, Monday morning, is his best. i think this is a good & funny short movie about a guy who is trying to get to work and cant because of stupid and weird things that happen to him. he also runs into some strange people. i thought the best scene was the shower scene, as i can relate to almost everything that the guy went through. I'm glad anthony has decided to do comedy instead of horror movies, he is a better director when he does comedy. i also think the guy who played the main character should be in more stuff, he is a good actor. i give this movie a 7 out of 10 rating because it is the best movie anthony has done and i've seen many of his movies. i also saw aftermath though i didn't like that one quite as much.

"Monday Morning" has to be one of the best shorts I have seen.
It was hilarious.
The bed scene was fantastic, the movements of Nate Edwards fit so well I laughed aloud.
The style of the old silent films was perfect for this. This is one of the movies I will take with me when I visit with friends so I can show them, as I know they all will enjoy it.
I found this film similar to those Funny home video shows, or the humorous video clips you can find on the internet and want to share them with everybody. You will want others to watch this one also. I would like to see more of this style, very enjoyable. I think this is funnier than most of the SitComs playing today and would like to see one of the independent stations to pick this up for when they need a short filler.
