Martial Law 9/11: Rise of the Police State

Very good facts and back up of proof, definitely nowhere near close to "SCIENCE FICTION"

Okay, first of all i find it very stupid how all these people are giving this great film a low rating.... all they seem to talk about is how bad the parts that discussed 911. THERE IS MORE TO THE FILM THAN THAT, and so what it doesn't matter if its just Alex Jones doing it!? why does that matter? he VERY CLEARLY just made Michael Moore look like an idiot and look at his films, they probably have lots of people involved in them and it even went to theaters! why hasn't Alex Jones movies gone there? Its obvious hes a fraud, in Michael Moore's film he ignored all the really intense facts about 911 then when he gets him to talk all he says is "That would be un-American" so what? its unamerican to question things and to find out what the truth is? Alex Jones is a great man, he makes amazing documentaries... and for the people who are bitching saying he makes bad movies, your stupid. a movie doesn't need to look all cool to get a point across and have very few people involved, his DSIBG movie is a great movie. Also for the people who say they fall asleep during Alex Jones rants, maybe you should stay up and actually listen to what hes saying before you judge the movie? haha i bet you didn't even finish the movie considering all of you who give bad ratings only comment on the 911 parts mostly, there is a lot more to the documentary than that, how about all the Arnold Schwarzenegger things, and the rest of the documentary? and no this is not a "science fiction film" he backs up his claims with news sites and talks to different people all over the place. You people are all just afraid to wake up to the reality so your finding ways to doubt everything this film says.

An Acquired Taste

Alex Jones is an acquired taste to those who like movies like this, and an easy target for those who don't.

A lot of reviews of this film tend to focus on stereotypes not present within this actual film and base it off 'common consensus' of conspiracy-theorists.

A lot of childish reactions have been made as so called reviews, but I'll attempt to actually review the movie.

While very flamboyant and direct in his approach, Alex Jones focuses on Police officers overstepping boundaries and using the Patriot Act to do so. This includes a large section of Alex talking about the arrests of protesters during the RNC in New York. He is somewhat too confrontational at this point and tries to goat on-duty police officers into overstepping their bounds.

The other main focus is 9/11 and the conspiracy he believes lies behind it. Unlike other documentaries on the subject "Martial Law 9/11" tends not to focus on zoomed up footage or the pentagon but rather quotes news articles about the event that were lost in the confusion of the initial days. While not entirely convincing, he brings up perfectly valid points that are dismissed by association by people that (for some reason or another) decided to watch a documentary they knew they were going to hate. For example that only buildings within the WTC complex were destroyed, including WTC 7, while much closer, more damaged buildings stand to this day.

I've also read a lot of lame-duck responses to his section on fires in other buildings throughout the world and them not falling. Instead of acknowledging this as a fact, the responses have been "if that were true the news would have talked about it case closed story over." This is a dangerous way of thinking and you're unintentionally giving truth to Alex's point about unthinking. If a firefighter or physicist expresses disagreement with official events and nobody decides to report it did he really say it?

The movie has flaws, and Mr. Jones can be a hand-full, but don't bother watching it if you already have made your decision. If you read some immature reviews with bad grammar, name calling and run on sentences and it convinced you not to watch this, I doubt you're an intended demographic.

Please don't just click "not useful" on this one to.

I've noticed that more then half of the reviews on film is a 1/10 even though it has a 7.7/10 on this very website.

If you all thought this film was a total joke you wouldn't taken the time to write all those bad reviews. In my opinion if think you are scared because this film is so strong and make very good points and facts, or you just have a lot of trust in the wrong people.

This is a very good documentary!, and it does have a lot of interesting facts in it, sure some things aren't proved but as long as the Us government doesn't tell the truth(or the whole story) we have more reason to believe Alex Jones then them, i mean at least Alex Jones isn't hiding anything, and at least Alex Jones story makes sense.

And if you prefer Michael Moores movies just because those are more professionaly made, you are totally missing the point of an documentary film, as you see in this film: Mr.Moore wouldn't bring up the "hard facts" about 9/11 in his movie Fahrenheit 911 because they weren't true, but because that would be un-American. Its a shame really because before that i respected that man highly.

And for those who say that if Alex Jones is right about the evil police state, why is he still alive? Well its pretty obvious that the government would look even worse if Alex Jones was killed, Especially since cover-ups aren't these guys strongest field.

This is a work of genius

First of all, ignore the idiot who wrote the previous review- Alex Jones is relevant and captivating, not to mention quite reliable. The film documents a blatant series of absurd contradictions in the Goverments retelling of 9-11, the brutal treatment of protesters during the RNC, and the state of open martial law which is quickly enveloping America. You'd think this film was directed by a radical left liberal right? INCORRECT! Jones is in fact attempting to construct a NEW political paradigm by showing how deep our government's treason (both in this and the former administrations) truly is. Alex Jones makes some initially completely outrageous claims (ie: 9-11 was an inside job) but he backs everything up with REAL footage, credible sources (ie:BBC,ABC,CBS,CNN not "Bubba's conspiracy journal") and interviews with people such as David Gurgen, NYC police chiefs during the RNC,top engineers, and former Attorney Generals. This film is a must see.

An excellent review of the New World Order

Alex Jones' best and most powerful film to date, available from infowars.com. It covers the hardcore details of who really carried out 911, a look at how the phoney left vs right 'wings' play into the hands of the same puppet master globalists. (That element seems to upset a lot of people who are stuck 'in the box' which is why you will get conflicting reviews on here).

It also gets into the darker side and occultic nature of the NWO (even if you aren't 'into' the occult... understand that these monkeys are). Research into Bohemian Grove is also covered (using material of my own... blink and you might miss it!).

Much better than Michael Moore's 'Fahernheit 911' (also mentioned in the film), in fact it's not even in the same league.

Certainly worth watching and sharing out.

America's slide into fascism

Martial law 9/11: rise of the police state is a documentary that puts the false flag atrocity of September 11 2001 in the context of current events of every day life in America, seen by footage from the streets of New York during the Republican convention of 2004 and related events at that time. I'll leave it up to the viewers to agree or disagree with this, but regardless, it's an excellent film.

It is, as some people here have suggested, not an examination of what is fairly obvious, it's rather an exposure of all that is obvious; which is bringing to light the true function of the predominant taboo of our age: the descent of America into police state totalitarianism, made possible by the terror demagogy that the American establishment has embraced as a quasi-religion to restructure American society. The results are visible when you see the police intimation and brutality, arrests of activists, high-tech surveillance, baseless detention of protesters in disease-ridden facilities and so forth.

There are of course some people here who either can't deal with the subject; or as I suspect the "people" who are slandering this documentary to degrade its standing in the statistics of this website; these viewers - supposedly from such obscure places as Djibouti, Iceland, The Faeroer Islands, Andorra and Guam- are really just one pathetic person spreading childish disinformation without having seen the film at all.

Hats off to Alex Jones and his efforts to fight for what is left of America's traditional freedoms.

interesting

I found this documentary interesting. It is ample as you may find all commentators will agree and disagree with some of the points made. From attacking communists to attacking the supposedly fascist conspiracy ruling America and the world today, the extras even include torture by the police towards a pro-life demonstration. Alex Jones does lack professionalism but it is interesting seeing him criticize Michael Moore and the actually state of US policy with good points made too. I can only describe his politics as populist.

Schwarzenegger for president, the Nazis ties to the current political elite, the 9/11 truth commission, the bohemian grove sect, it's all there. I recommend this documentary to anyone interested in a bit of amateur journalism mixed with the greatest intent of institutionalizing conspiracy theories.

The Truth

Everything Alex Jones talks about in this movie can be supported if you look for it. The movie simply doesn't have time to show all of the documentation, but if you do a bit of research yourself you can find all of it. The people who debunk this movie are just scared of the truth, that 9/11 was planned by the government. The evidence is so overwhelming that most people don't want to believe it, but you can't turn a blind eye to cold hard facts which is what Alex Jones repeatedly provides over and over in this movie. I suggest you check out his other movie, Secrets of Bohemian Grove, and you can for yourself see how screwed up our government is and how its all just a big good old boys club. Bush is as two faced as it gets, and we should all be scared.

Good

I really enjoyed this Docu/movie, from start to finish it kept me captivated and also gave me an insight into the general Public's opinions in the U.S on 911 and it's aftermath...something which most of the outside world don't hear (now the US is beginning to sound like China) I'd say something to do with Rupert Murdoch's ability to control the majority of the world's media...demonstrations all over the states in response to the U.S. truth commissions findings and the alleged cover up of 911...very interesting! albeit a little bombast in his approach Alex Jones does an affective job and presents the public with a lot of Un-answered questions. Why he attacks Michael Moore is baffling and this actually takes away from the film.

Alex Jones, the political hero

Ignore most of these negative reviews. Watch it yourself and keep in mind if you have watched all his films and his weekly reports like i have you will know he proves all his points many many times with links to mainstream media reports or articles AND experts.

Even if you don't believe the truth like so many don't want to. There is still the fact that there are so many unanswered questions about 911 and has been Proved that the official story is a lie.

Alex Jones lets you copy and give away copies of his film to spread the word of whats really happening in this world. Please go check out his website prison planet.com or info wars.com fantastic.

He is also appearing in a film soon with Keanu Reeves, Downey Jr and George Clooney called A Scanner Darkly coming out soon

Raises important factual questions that critics carefully avoid addressing directly

This film doesn't even profess to offer an objective or impartial account of contemporary events and shouldn't be dismissed out-of-hand for not aspiring to such a chimerical, and practically impossible, goal. Given the overt bias that pervades and plagues the mainstream media, perhaps such self-acknowledged subjectivity is a necessary, if not less deviant, methodological approach.

In terms of tone, rhetoric and visual presentation, this documentary issues a rather paranoid, anxious, but nonetheless credible view of the state of the world in which we and our subsequent offspring will live (or perhaps, be condemned?).

Jones uses well-researched, factually-supported arguments, most of which can be verified using mainstream media archives, to irrefutably prove the use of explosives to bring down the Twin Towers and (the third) Building No.7 on the 11th of September 2001. However, this aspect only represents a portion of the film's running time - the rest is dedicated to perhaps more shocking, obscure, (yet consistently supported and appropriately-cited) discussions on the subversive funding of Adolf Hitler by American Internationalists and their relationship with the Bush family: a family that today hold an increasingly arbitrary grip on power in the world's most powerful nation.

Critics of Jones' work tend to resort to two tactics. The first is 'ad hominem': instead of presenting a logical counter-argument to his well-cited and widely-researched discussion, they attempt to attack the character of the man himself, conveniently bypassing the facts rendered. The second is to ridicule the aesthetic presentation and format of his production: an approach which works toward the same end, and intriguingly avoids confuting the empirical arguments presented in the work.

Very much recommended. For more specialised and detailed documentaries scrutinising the official story of 9/11, see the fantastic (and very much BANNED in the Land of the Free) "Loose Change: 2nd Edition" and an equally authoritative lecture recorded at Wisconsin University, Madison and given by the respected academic Dr. Ray Griffin (author of "The New Pearl Harbour" and "The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions And Distortions").

A documentary that digs deep down in to the REAL truth unlike Fahrenheit 911 which is the biggest joke to date.

Everything is documented 100%. Fahrenheit 911 is a JOKE compared to this, obviously Fahrenheit 911 was to make bush look like an idiot and stray away from the complete truth. Watch a real documentary about what really happened, and if you hit pause during the movie you can actually read the news articles :) And there LOTS of other documentaries that support the FACTS made in this one, unlike Fahrenheit 911 were there a few that go along the same route. I wonder how much Michael Moore got paid to make that movie? I image quite a bit, he did have 3-4 bodyguards with him at the last republican convention in N.Y.C, what a joke.

Bold Documentary

The negative feedbacks against this film are brainless attacks without substance. If these people have actually seen the film, then one must conclude that they lack the intelligence to assess what they have seen. Watch this film, study the evidence, approach the subject with an open mind, and then judge for yourself.

Micheal Moore's film Farenheit 9/11 is a good effort, but it just does not measure up to Martial Law 9/11. Moore's film is far more docile. It lacks the intensity, the reality and sense of urgency that Alex Jones injects in his film. The brief moment Micheal Moore appears in Martial Law is revealing and will no doubt embarrass some of his fans.

excellent documentary

I found his documentary to be insightful and not full of improvable conspiracy theories. On the contrary Alex Jones uses mainstream media articles for most if not all of his sources if he didn't I would be much more skeptical. He predicted 9 11 about a month before it happened and his analysis on how the buildings were brought down has been shored up by many respected engineers, and physicists who say that without a doubt the buildings were brought down by controlled demolition. Buchanan the historian who researches the Bush family uses the library of congress as his reference for Prescott bush's activities. This is hardly what one would call tabloid journalism

This is a must see

This is a must see documentary for anyone who wants to know the truth on 9/11 and those who are behind it. It is very long, as are most of Alex's films, and is so informative. For the fellow from Denmark whom seems to think Alex is envious of Micheal Moore because of that poor excuse for even "tip of the iceberg" information, I'll let you in on a little secret. It is known facts (can be found in the news) that Mr. Moore, owns stock in the companies that he trashes on his documentaries. Yes thats right, he owns more than 3,000 shares in Eli Lily (a pharma company that was headed at one time by George H.W. Bush), he owns nearly 1,000 shares of Sonoco, more than 8,000 shares in Bank One, and best of all more than 2,000 shares of Halliburton! Yes, you heard right, the company he vilified (which there is no argument here that they are criminal)in "Farenheit 9/11" he is also a shareholder in. Anyways this is all mainstream and you can find this info anywhere on the internet. Alex tells the truth, Micheal is a shill
