Is a remake of 2003 Tamil comedy movie Nala Damayanti also starring R. Madhavan.
the crew was not allowed to shoot for a scene in the train so the director and cameraman had to hide the camera in R Mahadvan's bag in such a way that no one could see it and Mahadvan was asked to say his dialogues the other passengers in the train started looking weirdly at Mahadvan as they felt he was a mad person speaking to himself.
In this movie R. Madhavan is a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan. In 2010 he ended up in starring a movie with Amitabh Bachchan called ' teen patti' which also marks the bollywood debut of Hollywood actor Ben Kingsley.
The film was first titled " Bawarchi".
