Fred is saying Merry Christmas to everyone in different languages as he gives away his money. At some point he says to the reporter "kala Christoúgenna." The reporter asks the camerawoman what he said, and she replied, "Its Greek to me," and in fact that is Greek for Merry Christmas.

Goofs
In addition to the missing 'Private Property' sign, the wreath on the gate has vanished, and the gate now hinges on the right rather than the left side.

Very Enjoyable Christmas Movie

This is a good film for the holidays. It is light=hearted, fun and well acted. Howard Hesseman steal sthe show with his over the top portayal of the lead. The young boy is a treasure and the film has a good ending whcih you don't see often enough in movies throughout the year.
