Set after the third Air Bud movie, Air Bud: World Pup and erases the events of parts 4 & 5. Though the time-line is confusing, as there are references to both Air Bud 4: Seventh Inning Fetch and Air Bud Spikes Back in the sports equipment around Noah's room and the balls the puppies play with. Richard Karn plays Patrick Sullivan (the father figure) as he did in Air Bud 4: Seventh Inning Fetch and both Josh and Andrea have seemingly left for college.
In Air Bud 3: World Pup, Air Bud & Molly have 6 puppies. The Air Bud series only has five puppies.
The villain in this movie played Tom Everett Scott's (voice of Air Bud) dad in That Thing You Do
