Two young women kidnap the manager of the German phone company and start issuing funny demands.

I saw this film last week in Hamburg and really liked it. It has clever writing, a strong cast and is very funny. (Not "White Chicks" funny, more "The Office" funny). The plot is fairly simple: two young women kidnap the manager of the German telephone provider and start making strange demands while getting to know their captive a little better. The US remake will probably be shot on Imax, not on video, and have really exciting action scenes, but I think I'll take the funny action scenes in the original. The title of this film, in case anyone cares, means someone who starts to work in a profession for which they have no proper training. Literally: To step in sideways. And with the female article it means "Females who step in sideways", which I suppose is fitting for this extremely entertaining film.
