In the opening credits can be seen a wizard casting some spells. This wizard is identified by Rahman as Naszín. However, he isn't part of the series, as well as Rahman explains to Hanstor in the first episode that Naszín was killed by the dragon Balark during the siege to Dragon Island several years ago.
Both Hanstor and Prince Zalk have a little animal as their personal pets. While Hanstor's pet is a look-a-like squirrel named Shais, Prince Zalk's pet is a look-a-like frog called Potok.
