The novel marked the return of the gallant José Carlos Pereira, the novels of TVI. The same had already been involved in the Argentine adaptation of Muñeca Brava, named Wild Angel.
This novel was not very successful audience, nor popularity, perhaps put names that the general public would not be used to verify the novels, for example, the presenter Rita Insurance and the protagonist of sitcoms, Ricardo Castro, and many others.
The major themes of the plot were the adoption, abandonment of children and divorce at midlife.
Excellent interpretation of annoying Teresa, played by Silvia Balancho and villainous Bá, played by Andreia Dinis.
