- Hayes: [Jack, Carl and Hayes are at the side of a brontosaurus herd and Hayes notices that Carl isn't filming] What's the matter, Denham, not exciting enough for your film?
- Carl Denham: What? Oh right
- [Begins filming]
- Carl Denham: [crossing the canyon with brontosaurs] Look at the size of those legs they're like tree trunks!
- Hayes: KEEP MOVING FOR GOD'S SAKE!
- Carl Denham: [talking in a deep voice] Oh, I'm a big dumb investor. You're crazy Denham. There's no hidden island, we're not investing in your picture, there's no lost civilization, don't make us laugh.
- Carl Denham: We have to get through that door, there's no other way.
- [listens to footsteps]
- Carl Denham: Over there! something moved.
- [Venatosaurus comes out]
- Carl Denham: OH MY GOD! IT'S A GODDAMN DINOSAUR! Some kind of predator from the looks of it.
- Ann Darrow: Jack! He's lost consciousness!
- [Jack wakes up]
- Ann Darrow: Hey Jack you gave us a fright.
- Jack Driscoll: Ann are you hurt? what happened?
- Ann Darrow: We crashed against the rocks one of the sailors- Briggs was killed instantly. We put his body over there.
- Jack Driscoll: [stands up] Oh God, we can't just leave him here.
- Ann Darrow: I know. Hayes is trying to contact Englehorn.
- Hayes: [lights a flare] The sea's too rough. We just gotta hope he saw us. If he did, he'll come looking for us with the seaplane.
- Hayes: We're going into that valley.
- Carl Denham: So?
- Hayes: Valley means river, river means animals come to drink, trust me, stay alert.
- Ann Darrow: He's coming. If they try to trap him he's gonna fight back. If people start dying they're gonna kill him.
- Jack Driscoll: We can't stop this we have to think about you now. We have to get you off this island.
- Ann Darrow: [Kong's arm reaches down] Oh my god.
- Carl Denham: [while filming Jimmy fighting off the dinosaurs] Defend yourself um Billy, no uh boy go on hit 'em
