As of November 2014, the film has yet to get a official commercial release in theatre's. Only played in film festivals in 2009.
Sanjay Suri was signed for the film but later replaced by Manoj Bajpai.
In 2010 Manoj stated there were plans to dub the film in Hindi and have it released. As of 2018,this never happened.
The film was previously titled "Blade".
Rahul Bose wrote the script of the film and narrated it to Sanjay Gupta. Gupta loved it and agreed to produce the film. Hansal Mehta was signed to direct the film and it was titled " Blade". But Sanjay Gupta's White Feather Films delivered a few flops causing Gupta to back out of the film along with Hansal Mehta. That is when Rahul Bose took the script to a new producer and director.
