      Very creditable

This two-reel photoplay is very creditable and holds the interest of the spectator. The plot is considerably intricate and illustrates the difficulties a young inventor is forced to contend with in exploiting his invention, a mounted rapid-fire gun. Through the machinations of a fellow workman, who steals his drawings and sells them to his employer he comes to grief, temporarily. By the accidental meeting of the sweetheart of his employer's daughter, who befriends him, he wins out, as does his new-found friend. The former perfidious workman testifies in his favor also; whether is is to get even or otherwise is left to the imagination. Maurice Costello and Mary Charleston played the leads. The entire cast was adequate. A good production, though misty in places. - The Moving Picture World, March 7, 1914
