It takes a lot more than merely rounding up talented talent to come up with a worthwhile feature. Try telling that to Bryn Pryor/Eli Cross or whatever his nom de jour is, he being a classic example of the Peter Principle who has gone from writing about the porn industry to cranking out lousy videos.
Adam & Eve has a classic "Taboo of Tarot" in its catalog, an enigmatic romantic tale starring Jessica Drake before she became a Wicked contract girl. This feature simply titled "Tarot" is an all-sex pantomime, boring and pointless footage. Five vignettes are created with the hook of a tarot card for each come to life, with Sandra Romain as the card reader presiding over the silent opus. Typical of Pryor/Cross's ineptitude the titling of each card is as tiny as could be, unreadable as we try to figure out what each segment is supposed to represent. The whole charade of a film structure collapses, and it's just generic sex five times over, with Romain getting down, of course, in the final segment using a dildo on superstar Brianna Banks.
Several other of my favorites like Trinity Post, Trina Michaels and Melissa Lauren also go through their motions but for naught. This drivel comes off as even more mindless than a comparable flight in stupidity from Bluebird Films, perhaps inspiring that label to shoot low just a few years later. Biggest surprise is that Eli took a writing credit -for shame.
