Aftab Shivdasani was signed for the film but later was replaced by Shreyas Talpade.

The film was originally titled " Money Money Money". But the rights to the title was with Sudhakar Bokade. Sudhakar refused to give the rights to Subhash Ghai. Thats when Subhash had to think of another title.
"Sania Badnaam" was a remake of the song "Strawberry Hoon Main" from Raghu Romeo.
