Carroll O'Connor and Jeannie Linero in All in the Family (1971)

Trivia

Archie Gives Blood

All in the Family

Edit
First mention of Archie having been stationed in Foggia, Italy during World War II.
In this episode James Hong plays a doctor (uncredited). He also makes an appearance in episode 6.8, Edith Breaks Out (1975), a waiter in a Chinese restaurant (who's also the owner).
The issue of blood compatibility between races was revisited in "Archie's Operation" (S7, E6).
At the finale, Archie, Edith, Mike and Gloria are playing Monopoly again. Archie rolls the dice, and long after the roll is completed, one of the dice mysteriously flips on its own to another side.
When Edith asks about where she heard a particular quote, she wonders if it was on Mannix, and what sounds like the bald one - meaning Kojak, except that Kojak did not begin in any form for another two years, also on CBS. She was actually talking about an NBC "umbrella" series aired from 1969 to 1973, specializing in procedural dramas, known as the Bold Ones.
