Futuristic Flintstones
Gazoo gives the Flintstones and Rubbles a look at life in the 21st century.
A funny episode, one of the better ones of Season 6. It starts off with a funny scene of Fred dropping a rock on Mr. Slate. He also borrows 4 bucks from him but has to sign an agreement to huge interest. Barney talks about science fiction hero Rock Rogers. Fred's mother in law makes a brief appearance but doesn't even fight with Fred.
The main story gets going when Gazoo zaps the Flintstones and Rubbles to the future. It looks like the other Hanna Barbera series The Jetsons. Funniest scene is when they go to a restaurant the food is in pills. Fred also meets Mr. Slate's descendant who finds out about Fred's debt with millions in interest.

- TriviaThe future scenes are similar to that on The Jetsons (1962) which was also created by Hanna-Barbera.
- GoofsThe series up until now has never shown a pencil since they use hammers and chisels to write. But when Fred signs the IOU, he uses a pencil.
- Quotes
[while looking at a picture of Mr. Slate]
Fred Flintstone: So that's the company's founder, huh?
Mr. Slate the 80,000th: Yes, my remote ancestor. I'm George Slate the 80,000th. Of course, I didn't know our founder.
[chuckles]
Mr. Slate the 80,000th: But they say he was a fine, generous man.
Fred Flintstone: You sure didn't know him.
