In the third season, Matthew Perry was losing significant weight because of substance abuse issues. The show's costume designers tried to hide this by dressing him in baggy and oversize clothes. This is particularly noticeable in the first scene, when he is wearing such a baggy suit and overcoat he almost appears to be in a costume.

Goofs
When Mr. Kaplan Jr. comes into the room to tell Rachel to straighten the hangers in the closet, she's stirring her coffee and goes to place the stirring stick on the table and it falls to the floor. Rachel Jennifer Aniston) tries to catch it but lets it fall.

Drunk Chandler gets really intimate with one of Joey's sisters and things only go worse. David improvised in the scene where Chandler apologises to Monica. And you gotta understand Ross, he has been cheated on once.
