Kid with a Gun

Johnny Ringo sings. A lullaby to put a hot headed distraught teenager called Josie to sleep.

Josie rode into town to buy a gun. She plans to shoot the man who killed her father.

Her father had bought an interest in a silver mine. Josie thinks the man working the mine had killed him.

Johnny Ringo visits a local silver mine owner called Sam and he gives a plausible explanation that no one has visited apart from his son who helps him out.

Later in the night Josie disappears. Johnny Ringo things that Sam might be involved. Josie's only hope is Sam's son.

It was nice to see the paternal side to Johnny Ringo. Although there is tragedy to Josie's story. She lost her mother and father in quick succession.

I wonder if the singing was a bit of padding to the slim story.
