    Wanted

A bounty hunter brings a body into Laramie to collect the fee. He finds out that another wanted man may be hiding out under another name. He sets his sights on taking him in even though Troop has said "no more business for bounty hunters."

Johnny recognizes the man as someone with whom he is close friends. Troop sends Johnny to bring him in for questioning but the man's son knocks Johnny out with a whip handle. The father decides they must tend to Johnny rather than run. While taking Johnny to the doctor, Fallon sees them and takes Red prisoner forcing Troop to intervene.

Bounty Hunters in westerns always get a bad reputation, the town folk normally look at them with fear and disgust and Robert J. Wilkes' bounty Hunter is no different - he kills in cold blood, always bring them in dead and Troop comments on this. His performance is top notch and there's tension all the way. Plus Johnny gets a lecture about not letting feelings of friendship coming first before duty and he gets a knock on the head.

    • Goofs
In the opening scene, the wanted man is drinking a cup of coffee when he is approached by Fallon. After Fallon shoots him he touches the cup, pulls his hand away and has to use a rag to protect his hand. The coffee cup could not have been too hot to pick up since the wanted man had been holding in his bare hands as he drank from it.
