Blood Ties

Some nice stories here. Of course, Maurice is at the center of a blood drive. He has Cicely competing with another town where a guy who has won the past few years is gearing up. Maurice, of course, is doing his best to shame everyone in town to give blood. Chris, for all his seeming overconfidence, is scared to death of giving blood. So there is one story. Ed finds out he has one of the rarest of blood types and that there is a middle aged woman in town who has the same type. Ed things she may be his mother, so he hires an incompetent Private Eye. The guy who comes from Maggie's home town, Ned, comes to put moves on her, invading what she and Joel have been developing. Joel has his own problems when he starts getting the yips when finding veins on blood donors. There is a great confrontation.
