    • Trivia
This episode has the same leap date as a previous one, The Color of Truth - August 8, 1955 (1989). This is the only time in the series' history that two episodes have the same leap date.
    • Goofs
When Sam (as the Sheriff) and his deputy are carrying the body across the water, they are struggling with the weight. However, when they toss the tarp with the body into the back of the squad car, it is obviously much lighter, as the deputy can now carry his end with one hand and a light grip, then easily switch hands.
