    Officer Homer

One of the better S13 episodes, we see Homer become a policeman with Fat Tony (always a welcome addition) deciding to rub him out. However Homer is saved by an unexpected hero, love it

    a pretty good episode

    A pretty good episode.

When Homer becomes chief of police because chief Wiggum is not "in" anymore he thinks he is pretty successful(He thinks anyways) and does/takes the job(But not to serious though).

He is taken in by big tony and his gang and trouble awaits and ensues him later.

This was a pretty good episode.

    S13 ends well

Series 13 of the show has been a big improvement on the previous one, and although there's been some dud episodes, I've found more that I've liked than not.

Homer becomes a policeman here, and risks the wrath of Fat Tony, in an episode that is one of the series best.

A nice way to end S13.

    • Goofs

    • Quotes

Homer Simpson: You know, I've had a lot of jobs. Boxer, mascot, astronaut, imitation Krusty, baby proofer, trucker, hippie, plow driver, food critic, conceptual artist, grease salesman, carnie, mayor, grifter, bodyguard for the mayor, garbage commissioner, mountain climber, farmer, inventor, Smithers, Poochie, celebrity assistant, power plant worker, fortune cookie writer, beer baron, Kwik-E Mart clerk, homophobe and missionary. But protecting Springfield, that gives me the best feeling of all.

Marge Simpson: If you like protecting people, you can make that your job. You know, start a security company.

Homer Simpson: [kisses Marge] Finally a way to combine my love of helping people with my love of hurting people.
