This whole episode is a masterpiece

'Watching him die, it was like watching somebody get washed out to sea, only they're sitting right there in the bed. A wave comes, takes them a little away. Another wave comes takes them a little away. Every wave is a day. Little by little off they... Off they go.' - Brenda Chenowith

Brenda's father Bernard dies cause of a stomach cancer and we see for the first time, a person we know can die. All the scenes between her and Nate together was so emotional. Margaret is still one of my favorite characters in the series.

Ruth was acting like stupid in this episode, she was like drunk but her and Arthur's relationship is sweet. I think Arthur's music really shows his personality.

Russell buying Claire the blue paint she wants. It shows us he's really a good guy and cares about Claire.

Whole David and Keith storyline wasn't great. It was just fun to see Keith under the gay pressure.

Lisa's behavior was a bullshit. What will happen if Brenda touched Maya, you're going to slap her? I think she's really want Nate to leave her and get back together with Brenda.

We find out Nate's true feelings, by his chat with Bernard's vision. Bernard: You find your own happiness, she'll find her. Nate: What if i didn't find mine.

This episode reminds me why this show is the best thing i've seen.

    10/10, flawless.

    PERFECT

An episode full of emotions. How is it 8.2? Deserves a lot more

    Timing Is Everything

Lisa travels with Dana to a food convention, and while reading the newspaper, Nate sees that Bernard Asa Chenowith had died. Nate goes to the funeral with Maya, since he did not feel comfortable to leave the baby with Vanessa, and Brenda tells him that her father died of gastric cancer and that she misses Nate. Arthur decides to run in the park, and Ruth, with the behavior of an adolescent, stalks him. David goes with Keith to a gay's party, but Keith does not feel comfortable and leaves David alone. Claire is feeling good with the gentle Russell.

In this episode, Nate and Brenda disclose that they miss each other, and the behavior of Lisa is unbearable. I am quite sure that she is going to lose Nate. The weird Ruth is behaving like a silly adolescent with Arthur, and Claire seems to be really in love with Russell. My vote is eight.

Brenda Chenowith: I've missed you. Through this.

Nate Fisher: I missed you too. I mean, it's not like I don't know how much being with you changed me. How much it woke me up as a person. I wouldn't be who I am today if I never met you. I certainly wouldn't floss everyday, that's for sure.

Brenda Chenowith: You're keeping up with that?

      Nate Fisher: After every meal.

Brenda Chenowith: You changed me too.

      Nate Fisher: Yeah? How so?

Brenda Chenowith: You're the first person I've lost for really costed me something. That's why I haven't been with anyone since.

      Nate Fisher: Nobody?

Brenda Chenowith: It's too scaring, the thought of screwing it all up again.

Nate Fisher: Yeah, you'll find somebody.

Brenda Chenowith: That is so not the answer. You know what I think?

      Nate Fisher: About what?

Brenda Chenowith: I don't know. Life.

      Nate Fisher: What?

Brenda Chenowith: I think it's all about timing. I think timing is everything.

Nate Fisher: I think you might be right.
