    The Arabian

The episode might had been inspired by the notorious kidnapping of the famous horse Shergar in Britain in 1983. However this is just a daft and convoluted story.

A thoroughbred horse has to be put down by the vet a few days before it is due to be auctioned for $8 million. The owner is a former actress fallen on hard times. Her gigolo boyfriend has a plan to switch the horse with a similar looking sibling which the actress does not recognise that it is not her horse. The bad guys kill the vet and then hold the horse for ransom for $2 million made payable by the insurance company.

However as the vet said before he died, if the horse dies the insurance payout would be $4 million so what the heck is the boyfriend doing with this daft plan where several people end up dead? The boyfriend looks like a guy who just walked out of some early 1980s LA porn movie, not a criminal mastermind.

Jess teams up with a beautiful insurance investigator Elizabeth Morgan who seems to be more on the ball than Street Hawk and the police department.

    The Arabian

Jesse competes with a beautiful and intelligent Insurance Agent when they investigate a horse switching scheme and a murder of a stable hand.

We know who the villain is, the fiancée of the horse owner, so there's no mystery. We see his scheme etched from the beginning and he's a creep from the first order. It's a standard episode bolstered by the presence of Barbara Stock, who stars a iron-willed and cold insurance agent, and naturally Jesse is attracted to her. The subject of putting horse to sleep and be discomforting to some viewers but not much is shown. There's the usual spate of action such as Street Hawk coming to Barbara Stock's rescue. Cars flip over and she's trapped inside.
