In 2005, the show got its first number 1 single in the Dutch pop charts, "De Streken van Tante Toets", which was - at the time - the series' current theme song. It was performed by Harold Verwoert, who also plays the part of "Coole Piet" in the series. Although he also usually jointly composes and writes the theme songs for the show (since 2001), this year his wife Louisa Verwoert did that jointly with Daan van Leeuwen.
Since it's debut, "De Club" has been the most successful show on the Dutch Fox Kids/Jetix channel.
"De Club" had the highest viewer ratings during season 5 (2004) with an average of 450.000 viewers. Other seasons average around 300.000 viewers. Season 9 (2008) had the lowest ratings with an average of 150.000 viewers.
Until the year 2021 season 1 (1999) was the only season not to have received a home video release. In 2016 all seasons (including the first) were published (in lower quality and with shorter theme song) on the official YouTube channel which were re-uploaded in 2019 in high quality.
In reruns on the channel RTL 8 the theme songs of seasons 7, 8 and 10 were replaced by new songs.
