FAQ

Body of Lies

FAQ

Body of Lies is a film adaptation of the 2007 novel by American writer and journalist David Ignatius.

Those who have both seen the movie and read the book say that one of the biggest differences between them is that the movie leaves out the Alice and Gretchen characters, makes Roger Ferris (Leonardo DiCaprio) single, and gives him a love interest in the form of a Middle Eastern woman named Aisha (Golshifteh Farahani).

Washington DC stood in for Amsterdam and Baltimore, and Maryland stood in for Manchester.

Yes, there is an excerpt from a new track called "If the World" that plays over the beginning of the end credits (otherwise known as the end titles). It is listed in the song credits in the film, but does not appear on the soundtrack.
