    Quite funny

If you liked Spinal Tap, Waiting for Guffman, Mighty Wind, and Best in Show, you need to check out For the Title.

Filmed in the same "mockumentary" style, this film follows the same format

-- individuals making up a humorous cross-section of southern culture are united in pursuit of the same goal -- an Ultimate Frisbee championship.

Quentin McCuiston as Lawrence was hilarious, particularly in the final scene (those of you who saw the shorter version don't know what you are missing).

A fun "Mocumentary" of 2 rival Ultimate Frisbee teams

This movie is a fun "Mocumentary" like the Christopher Guest movies (A Mighty Wind, Best in Show, etc) It is like and unlike anything that you have seen, and is very well done for being made by college students with a low (if that) budget to work with. The acting is superb, and the actual game was done well. I hope to see these names pop up on IMDb in the future.

The film version that was originally released has far less material than the final product. If you haven't seen For the Title without seeing the sheer comedic acting of Zachary "George" Young, you have not seen For the Title.

Quentin McCuiston and David Blalock do a great job ad-libbing their characters.

If you get the opportunity, go and see this film. You won't be sorry.

    Very funny "mockumentary"

Very funny movie in the classic "mockumentary" style. Those who enjoyed the Christopher Guest movies in this style (e.g., Best of Show, Waiting for Guffman, A Mighty Wind) should see this film. The characters are developed well, especially Lawrence and Floyd. You can tell that much of the dialog is improvised by the actors and that spontaneity adds to the fun. The the ultimate Frisbee competition is a very creative setting for the film. Those who play ultimate Frisbee will probably relate to some of the humor and identify with the some of the player "types" that the film satirizes. Don't miss the song while the credits run at the end!
