Robin Williams, Mandy Moore, and John Krasinski in License to Wed (2007)

FAQ

License to Wed

FAQ

Critical reaction has been very negative. On Rotten Tomatoes the picture has a lowly 7% rating, indicating that only that small percentage of reviews where deemed good. Metacritic scores it a 25, meaning mostly negative reviews.

Released alongside Transformers in the states the movie has fared no better than average at the Box-Office. At the date (28/08/07) the film has grossed a distinctly dissapointing $54 million at the Worldwide Box-Office.

Taking into account the poor reception from both the public and the critics it is unlikely there is enough demand for a sequel. Box-Office was also below par not adding to the incentive for Warner to make a follow up. As it stands it looks highly unlikely.
