First .hack Series to be aired in HDTV.
The name Haseo is alternate reading of the name of the famous Japanese poet, Matsuo Basho. This is significant because his previous character Sora from the predecessor series .hack//SIGN (2002) (of whom he remembers nothing) was named after Basho's disciple Sora Kawai.
During it's run on Cartoon Network, only 21 episodes were broadcast, the series then went into reruns and was pulled eight months later when the Adult Swim block became an all night format.
